BuildMyCV - AI Resume Builder

About the Project

• Built BuildMyCV as a personal project, which was later acquired and extended in collaboration with the owner of Dignify A Girl.
• Initially developed core features including AI resume builder, job description analysis, and an AI assistant to help users improve their resumes.
• I built a resume builder where users can generate and edit resumes using AI in an interactive interface.
• I implemented a feature where users can upload their resume along with a job description, and the system analyzes how well the resume matches the job.
• I built an AI assistant that answers questions based on the user’s resume and suggests improvements.
• After the project was taken forward, I worked on adding more features like job recommendations based on user profiles.
• I integrated Stripe payments to support subscription-based access and premium features.
• I worked on AI flows using LangChain and Gemini AI to generate structured outputs for resumes and analysis.
• I used Firebase for storing user data and resume-related information and handled both frontend and backend using Next.js and Node.js.
• Worked across the full stack to connect AI features, payments, and user workflows into a complete product.
